Cleopatra had four children. Ptolemy XV Caesar, Alexander Helios, Cleopatra Selena, Ptolemy Philadelphia. After Ptolemy XV Caesar died on Octavian's orders, Cleopatra's other three children were sent to Rome. Cleopatra happened to be "the seventh" female Egyptian ruler. When her father passed away her siblings ruled together. She had an adopted son named Octavian.

Cleopatra was very kind to her people and her servants. Also when her father died her other siblings tried, and did, over throw Cleopatra. So Caesar helped and fought, and won her place as ruler back.

There were many customs like hair. For example, woman and girls wore their hair curly or long. They also wore basic styles from today like straight hair styles or braids. The little boys and girls had to wear their hair in little pony tails to the side. There were a lot of ways to keep their skin from being dry. Castor oil was used by the poor and scented oils were used by the rich. Additionally, Cleopatra bathed in milk.

Farmers dug canals to water their crops. The farmers used something called flax to make cloth , grapes ,wine, fruit, and vegetables. The first meal was called "mouth washing". The second meal was called the "rising of the stars".

There were two famous pharaohs. They were Tutankhamen and Hatsheput. There were many gods and goddesses of the Egyptians. For instance, Seth was the ruler of the underworld and was the evil brother of Isis and Osiris. Also, Seth was the god of evil, chaos, and destruction. Another god was the brother of Isis. Ra or Re was the god of the sun. Horus was the son of Isis. Isis was the sister and wife of Osiris. Iris was Cleopatra's role model.

Cleopatra died in 30 B.C. She died from killing herself. She asked one of her servants to put a poisonous snake in a basket. Before she ate the basket of fruits, she left a note for Octavian to bury her with Antony. Octavian sent guards to find Cleopatra but it was to late.
